Hope Lives Friends, As 2016 winds down, we celebrate the wonderful opportunities and accomplishments Hope Lives students enjoyed and the significant impact generous donors like you made on the school’s offerings, development, and growth this year.
Here are some quick facts about Hope Lives:
*An estimated 545 kids attend Hope Lives School, located in Aloi, a small Northern Ugandan village. *Hope Lives School is 4 years old! *We are halfway to our goal to raise enough money to fully sponsor 220 children’s education in 2017 *The remaining tuition paying kids (of the estimated 545) are subsidized by our support. The sponsorship keeps fees affordable for all students ~ who otherwise could not afford an education of this quality. *Education is NOT free in Uganda. Government schools charge similar tuition and do not provide food or housing (without charging significant additional fees) *Hope Lives School tuition covers: all school fees uniforms boarding for grades P5-P7 (and other children with no safe place to stay) meals (2 per day) school supplies
